Hello! Now, I want to tell you about my first experience in a social event with my school friends. The event is "Village Service."
Village service is an event that is always held by SMA 3 Bandung every year. This event is very useful, we can increase our social skill because in this event we are required to help our foster parents and local residents, besides that we also have to be able to socialize with everyone especially children.
Initially, we gathered first at school and then went together with public transportation. We go to Cibeureum Village, after we arrived there we gathered at the Village Hall to have lunch together. And then, we walked to our foster parents home.
Lucky me, I got foster parents with the farmer as a job. Our foster parents are really kind, I feel like in my own home. But, we here not to be a guest so we should help them, for example when they will go to the farm we should follow them and help their job. The main purpose we doing that is to ease the workload. I know that being a farmer's should have a big heart, patient, and perseverance. Because when the harvest season isn't always succeeded, sometimes it can fail. And, we should have the skill to be a farmer.
Our activities in that place beside help our foster parents, we taught children some lesson, joined the religious activity in the mosque, did community service like cleaned up the environment, played with the kids in the yard, shared donation to residents, etc.

Besides, in last day we also go to the Cisanti Lake, it's zero kilometers of Citarum and a gathering place for the seven mainsprings of the Citarum River. To get there requires a struggle because we took a very long route by circling several plantations and forest first without riding a vehicle, aka walking. But, after we arrived all these struggles paid off, yeay!
Unfortunately, we just have three days in there. We should back to Bandung to continuous our school. We leave our second family and I really-really sad to leave them. I hope someday I can go there again.
